Customer Service representative is a great role at Popes.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in supporting clear and efficient communication. You will handle customer inquiries, order entry, returns, and status updates by phone, email, and in person. You will also support daily office operations and work closely with the Scheduling, Production, and Quality Control teams.

This is a great opportunity to help shape processes and improve how we support our customers. Reporting to the Customer Service Leader, you will work closely with team members. A proactive approach, strong organization skills, and close attention to detail are essential for this role.

Customer Service Assistant Duties

Customer Service
• Assist customers with inquiries, orders, and routine issue resolution
• Provide order status updates and resolve standard customer concerns
• Route customer inquiries to the appropriate department when required

Order Processing
• Enter customer orders accurately into internal systems
• Review orders for completeness, pricing, and accuracy
• Coordinate with internal teams to support timely order fulfillment
• Track orders and follow up on delays or issues
• Maintain accurate order records and related documentation

Quality Control Support
• Provide administrative and documentation support to the Quality Control team
• Assist with tracking quality issues, inspections, and corrective actions
• Coordinate communication between Quality Control, Purchasing, and Customer Service
• Support follow-ups with suppliers or internal teams on quality-related matters

Office & Operations Support
• Prepare basic reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets
• Update customer, order, and quality information in internal systems
• Provide general administrative support to office and operations teams as needed

About You

To succeed as a Customer Service Assistant, you are organized, dependable, and customer-focused, and communicate clearly. You bring a positive attitude, listen actively, and take pride your job. You are comfortable multitasking, working under deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities.

What Will Set You Apart

Strong customer service assistant skills are essential, but additional experience and initiative will help you stand out. If you are detail-oriented and comfortable working with internal systems, this role offers a real impact.

• 1–2 years of customer service, office support, or order processing experience preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with ERP systems, order entry, or quality documentation is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging environments is a plus.
