Join Our Growing US Sales Team

We are expanding our U.S. team and we’re looking for a Territory Manager Pacific Northwest. In this full-time remote role, you’ll manage a territory covering Washington and Oregon and make direct sales to new and existing customers.. Your focus will be on supplying flexible polypropylene and polyethylene packaging products in an ever-growing market.

Territory Manager Overview

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads, prospecting new clients, and building strong relationships through outside sales with new and existing customers in your assigned territory. You will work closely with the sales manager to identify opportunities for growth, promote our products and services, and achieve sales targets.

This role requires a proactive and customer-focused approach, as well as excellent problem solving, communication, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities in Remote Sales
  • Prospect and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation techniques.
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to promote brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives. Build and maintain sales zones and routes for quality touches.
  • Present product/service offerings to potential customers in a compelling and persuasive manner.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the customer.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and support for customers.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Enter customer info, sales activities, opportunities and sales wins and losses into our Microsoft D365 CRM system on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required.
  • Must be able to execute Pope Packaging sales process and close customers.
Ideal Territory Manager Pacific Northwest Profile
  • Willingness to travel daily, including overnight stays, within their assigned territory.
  • Proven track record of success in outside B2B sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools. Understands the requirement of fulfilling the CRM requirements as required by the company.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and a passion for exceeding expectations.
Physical Demands of a Territory Manager Role
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • May include squatting, bending, and reaching
  • Travel up to 3 nights per week may be required
